De GS-911 krijgt geen respons van de ECU(s). Dit kan verschillende redenen hebben.

1. Dat u aansluit op de verkeerde stekker(top-box), vooral op RT en GT/L modellen.
2. That you are choosing the wrong model and is thus talking the wrong protocol (CAN vs KLINE).
3. De ECU is niet aangedreven of niet in staat om te antwoorden.
   • Startonderbreker/Alarm nog ingeschakeld
   • kill switch NIET in de RUN positie
   • Ontsteking NIET AAN
   • Neutraal NIET geselecteerd.
4. You are using an extension or adaptor cable with faulty wiring or bent pins.
5. De diagnoseverbinding tussen de connector en de motorbesturing is verbroken (hoogst onwaarschijnlijk, maar mogelijk) of kortgesloten.

The best way to check diagnostic connectivity would be to have the bike in Neutral, and start it... while it's idling connect GS-911 and connect to the Engine controller - If you can connect, then you've had one of the issues in (3) above... if you can't then you might have a (4/5) wiring problem.

If you suspect a wiring problem, also perform the Diagnostic Interface Test to check the connector pins for shorts/open circuits.
