Normalmente un usuario configuraría una Conexión Wifi como se describe en la Guía de Inicio Rápido usando la Aplicación de Diagnóstico de PC o la Utilidad Wifi. Pero a veces esta opción no es práctica o no está disponible.

Cómo configurar Wifi sin cable USB

1. Asegúrese de que el dispositivo GS911wifi está en modo Dispositivo a Dispositivo(D2D) utilizando el botón de conmutación en la parte posterior. El GS-911wifi creará una red wifi que otros dispositivos pueden ver y conectarse.
2. Utilice su PC, teléfono o tableta para buscar y conectarse a la red Wifi GS-911_xxxx . Los xxxx serán los 4 últimos dígitos del número de serie del GS-911 y no se requiere contraseña.
3. Abra un navegador y navegue a http://10.0.0.1. Esta es siempre la dirección IP del GS-911wifi cuando está en modo D2D.
4. Seleccione la opción Wifi Configuración y busque las redes disponibles.
5. Selecciona la red Wifi de tu casa/trabajo y completa la información de la clave de seguridad, etc. y selecciona 'Conectar'.
6. The GS-911 will try to connect to the selected network. A successful connection will light the Wifi Infrastructure status LED green and a double beep will also be heard if sound is enabled. An unsuccessful connection shows a red LED and emits a single long beep.
7. Cambia tu dispositivo (PC, teléfono, tableta) a la misma red wifi y ejecuta la utilidad GS-911wifi o la aplicación GS911launcher para buscar tu dispositivo GS-911wifi y establecer una conexión o simplemente navega a http://gs911_XXXX.local si tu sistema operativo tiene soporte zeroConf/Bonjour.

Operación

• A maximum number of 10 wifi networks can be saved on the GS-911wifi network profile list.
• A network is saved to the GS-911wifi network profile list, once it has successfully connected to that network the first time.
• When the GS-911wifi is powered up, it will automatically connect to the network it was last connected to. If such network is not in range, it will scan for available networks, and if it finds an available network for which it has authentication details in its wifi profile list, it will connect to it.
