What’s New in This Update?

Retrofit Daytime Running Lights (DRL) for BMW models with the K001 Chassis

This is especially good news for riders of US-spec BMW motorcycles on the K001 chassis, as you can now fully configure your factory-fitted Daytime Running Lights (DRL) — such as the eye-catching LED ring around the headlight. Although these bikes come with the hardware already fitted, the function is disabled by default in the US.

Now, with the latest GS-911 update, it’s a simple retrofit to allow DRLs to work in auto mode with light detection, just like their European counterparts.

⚠️ Please note: This only applies to K001 bikes and not the newest models with the XKOMBB2 instrument cluster (such as the R1300).

Supported models include:
R1250 LC, R1200 LC, R nineT, R18, F900 GS/GSA/R/XR (2019–24), F850 GSA (2017–23), F800 GS (2023–24), F750 GS (2016–23), K1600, CE 04, C Evolution, C650 Sport/GT (2015–20), C400 GT/X (2017+), G310 GS/R, M1000 R/XR/RR, and S1000 R/XR/RR (2015 onwards)

TPMS Just Got Smarter

We’ve added full support for the new XSLZ04 controller, so you can now run two sets of tyres on the latest bikes — perfect if you swap between road and off-road wheels. You’ll also be able to learn or manually input TPMS sensor IDs with ease.

We’ve also expanded support for the XSLZ03 controller, so a wide range of modern BMWs (excluding the R1200 and R1250) can now enjoy two-tyre TPMS setup too.

The Key to Success

Owners of BMW motorcycles models using any of these three controllers, XSLZ, XSLZ03, or XSLZ04, will now be able to view, enable and disable their motorcycle keys.

Remove ABS Limitations on Sport Bikes

Sportbike owners rejoice! If your bike uses the XABS system, you can now remove restrictions that previously stopped you from disabling ABS in certain ride modes or conditions. This gives you more freedom to configure your braking the way you want it – ideal for track use or technical riding.

New Functions for XCCP-Controlled Bikes

Bikes using the XCCP main body controller (which manages electrical functions) now gain several new Service Functions:

  • Calibrate your windscreen
  • Actuate SVA lights in the mirrors
  • Run a headlight self-test

Radar Calibration for ACC Bikes

For newer BMWs with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) using the XMRR2 radar controller, the GS-911 can now calibrate the radar system. This includes models like the R1300 GS and R1250 RT that come with the radar-based cruise feature.

Wider Bike Support and Improved Usability

  • New model support for the latest F900R, R12 GS, R1300 RT, R1300 R, and R1300 RS
  • Menu support added for S1000R, M1000RR, and S1000RR
  • Improved flow for licence and registration checks — smoother and quicker!
