HEX GS-911 – March 2026 Software & Firmware Update
We are excited to announce a major software and firmware update for the HEX GS-911 Diagnostic & Configuration Tool. This release is packed with long-requested features, expanded support for the latest 2024–2026 BMW models, and powerful new service functions to give you even more control over your ride.
The update will be available from Tuesaday, the 24th March 2026 for ProUnlimited subscribers, and will roll out to all GS-911 users from Tuesday, the 31st March 2026.
Let’s take a look at what’s new.
SOFTWARE UPDATE DETAILS:
You now have professional-level control over the new DSA system. Perform essential service functions yourself, including:
Check Hydraulic Levels: Verify the system is healthy and topped up.
Calibrate Ride Height: Reset the sensors to ensure your bike sits perfectly.
Lower/Raise the Chassis: Manually adjust the stance for maintenance or comfort.
Fantastic news for owners of BMW models using the K001 chassis (this includes most of the popular models manufactured between 2015 and 2023). You can now use your HEX GS-911 to officially unlock and code the Cruise Control feature on your bike!
Please Note: While the HEX GS-911 handles the software "unlock" and coding, you will first need to ensure the necessary official BMW hardware (such as the multi-function handlebar switch clusters) has been physically fitted to your motorcycle.
Once your hardware is in place, the HEX GS-911 makes the digital integration quick and easy, saving you a trip to the dealership.
We have expanded the "Realtime Values" feature, allowing you to see exactly what your bike’s "brain" is thinking in the moment. This now includes:
Audio & Bluetooth: Support for the XAUDIO and XAP20 modules found on the R1200 RT, R1250 RT, and the K1600 range.
Safety & Radar: Real-time data for XWAVE (Radar) and XTPM (Accident Detection) modules.
Police Models: Specialised support for the XBCA controller on R1250 RTP police bikes.
Electric Models: Comprehensive battery and motor data for the C Evolution and CE 04 electric scooters.
New Models: Full support now added for the R1300 R and R1300 RS.
Better ID: Improved identification for the latest R18 Pure, R18 Classic, and S1000 RR variants.
To keep our software secure and fast, the HEX GS-911 will no longer support Internet Explorer (IE 10) or any browsers older than 10 years. Most modern computers use Edge, Chrome, or Safari, which will continue to work perfectly!
