PUBLIC RELEASE 20 JUNE 2024

SOFTWARE UPDATE DETAILS:

  • GS-911 Diagnostics v2406.5

  • GS-911WiFi Firmware v299; Datapack v276

Your GS-911 Diagnostics and GS-911wifi Web Application Functionality

This update now provides you with the ability to configure your motorcycle's electronics (code the Instrument Cluster, Body Controller, and change the Vehicle Order) for the retrofit or removal of the following accessories:
- Alarm
- Auxiliary headlights (aka LED fog lights)
- Heated Grips
- LED Indicators
This provides you with OEM functionality on any BMW motorcycle with the K001 chassis and is accessible from the Selected or Detected vehicle menus.

You now have access to the configuration of auxiliary lights on the XBCO, XBCL and XFSA body controllers on K001 chassis bikes.
This gives you the ability to set and customise OEM fitted lights, including their brightness levels, button behaviour, and status with high beam.
This exceeds OEM functionality and enhances the visual appeal of your OEM auxiliary lights.

You will now be able to disable the menu speed lock on XKOMBIHI.

By doing this you will have menu access above the default 3km/h. Allowing you to do things like connect to your Bluetooth without having to stop first.

With this update you also now have coding options for XKOMBA 10” Instrument Cluster.

This will provide you with the similar functionality found in the existing XKOMBIHI 7” Instrument Clusters, with access to great features like the startup animation, Sport screen, lap time and racetrack settings, and so much more.
This exceeds your OEM functionality.

Other new features include:

  • An all-new display for Real-time Values. This improves the display of Real-time values by using the full screen, increasing the font size and contrast between foreground and background. Also, the Real-time Values display now automatically adapts to the display orientation of mobile devices and changes the grid dimensions accordingly. It provides the ability to pause the display and rearrange the order of cells in the grid, which it will recall in subsequent sessions.
This currently supports up to 9 variables.
  • You now get the convenience of periodic browser connection retries. What this means is, after your connection to the GS-911 device is lost, the browser will periodically attempt to reconnect to the device in the background. This should improve the user experience in cases where e.g. the device is toggled from D2D mode to a known Access Point in Infrastructure mode.
  • Added detailed descriptions in the AutoScan for Configuration changes to the Vehicle Order, e.g. Display Unit selection and Indicator cancellation.
  • Menu entries for 2024 F900GS/GSA models.
  • Menu entries for 2023 F800GS models.
